Has anyone encountered an upgrade being sold (939 to 969) where no
hardware is replaced?
1 - does this really work?
2 - is it legal
3 - if you have done this.... could you give me an idea of the CPU
improvement if this is done?

Here is the issue HP is no longer selling or installing 939 - 969
upgrades. I heard of this "logical" way of souping up a 939.

Thanks for the feedback in advance.
