Is "SLL" a typo for "SSL"?

By "SSL", do you mean that you've built mod_ssl?

The documentation at http://www.php.net/manual/install-unix.php mentions an
INSTALL.DSO file in the PHP source distribution that contains the instructions
for doing this.

Please note that I've never tried building mod_php as a DSO, nor have I tried
running mod_php in combination with mod_ssl. You want to read
http://www.modssl.org/docs/2.6/ssl_faq.html#ToC10 before attempting this.
