I can neither RESTORE nor VSTORE any files from these backups.

I suspect:

1) It might be something having to do with the number of files
stored, since I am able to divide the full backup between two tapes of
around 10000 and 6000 files, with the latter containing the ;DIRECTORY parm. [...]45_11Jul199717:36:[log in to unmask]

Every time I start an HPEdit-session when telnet-connected through a
TelnetAccessCard I know it's time for a coffe-break ;-). The
Reflection-window/terminal hangs for 30-60 seconds. Most time, as far as I
can tell, spent on setting up the F-keys. Does anybody else have the same
problem? Do I have any settings wrong?
Mostly, it seems HPEdit gets somekind of command initially (such as '!' or
'$'), which can be rather confusing.
This does not happen on NS or serial connection and it does not matter which
of our two TACs I use (don't have product # handy, but one is rather new in
a DTC72MX and the other several years old in a DTC48).
It would also be interesting to know if this thing would keep haunting us
when/if we introduce host-based telnet on our system whith 5.5.
Any thoughts welcomed

(This is something that irritates on a regular basis (~3/yr), so my
appologies if I've posted on this subject before)
