Esmond is correct, but I can amplify a little.
1. You don't need a terminal emulator to access the 3000 with a
PC UNLESS
you want to emulate a not so dumb terminal like an HP block mode
terminal.
You need one if you want to emulated an HP terminal using HP
VPlus.
2. The MS supplied TERMINAL program (comes with MS Windows) will
work fine
with the 3000, at least if you are hooked up via a DTC,
although I
I would assume It would work with other connections also.
Of course, some might say that MS TERMINAL IS an emulator. But
anyway
he price is right.
