Back in the days when my series 48 served triple duty (home computer, source of
income and home heater) while I was at a client's office that was connected to
my 3K we suddenly experienced no response from the computer. Forty five minutes
later after driving home I found one of my cats had 'found out' how to turn off
the power switch under the desk top - it quickly got covered with card board
and tape - never happened again. I'll bet the HP engineers never thought they'd
need to 'cat proof' the power switch....
