You can modify the System prompt by doing the following.
 
    Logon as MANAGER.SYS
    :SYSGEN
    MI
    SH  (will display the current values)
    SY CIPROMPT=<new system prompt>
    HO
    E
    K
    YES
    E
 
In order for the new prompt to be activated, you must perform a START
NORECOVERY.
