Within WFWG, Win95 and even plain Win 3.1, there are available LPR/LPD
drivers. WRQ's Reflection Network Series includes an LPD server, and an LPR
print module. Many other transport vendors, including Microsoft, provide
these services as well. There are even public domain/shareware products for
the PC as well.

On the HP3000, Quest Software can provide an LPR/LPD module for their
NBSpool product.

What this all means is that PC users can transparently print to HP3000
connected printers, while the HP3000 can print to printers connect to PCs.
Almost all Unix implementations have LPR/LPD support as well, so there is
even more value for having this on your 3000. Netware file servers can
include an
LPR/LPD NLM modules either from Novell or from 3rd parties.

Hope this helps.
