I know this topic has been discussed several times on this list judjing by
the archives but before I give up trying to print our 'cheques' and
'payslisps' via the network printing method (thereby getting rid of our
DTC's) I thought maybe someone will have a positive answer for me.

I'm printing to a 'rugged writer' connected to an external jetdirect print
server from the HP3000. (Everything from a networking point-of-view works
fine)

Problem... the printer is not doing a form feed from a designated position
as it normally does on a printer connected serially via the DTC. I've tried
the 'setup file' in NPCONFIG with certain PCL sequences but I've had no
luck. (maybe I haven't used the correct PCL escape sequences)

I've seen quite a bit of info in the archives about networking serial
printers on the HP3000 but there doesn't seem to be any tips on how to solve
the 'form-feed' problem (unless I've missed something or mis-interpreted
something)
