Hi,
We are trying to convert an HP SpoolFile that contains PCL
(Fantasia/3000) to a file acceptable by a PCL printer from DOS. In
other words, I want to strip out all the spooler overhead and convert
the CCTL to PCL.
I have thought of two possible solutions:
1) The HP Spooler does this already. Is there a way to capture the
output of the spooler before it actually goes to the device? Or, are
there ways of calling the code in the spooler (i.e., intrinsics) to
perform this conversion operation?
2) We can use Fantasia to print to a flat file, but it still contains
CCTL. Is there any contributed (or not) software out there that can
convert CCTL to standard PCL?
We are, as always, in a time crunch on this. Any information would be
greatly appreciated!
