With the elections getting nearer and tempers beginning to flare, and the
civility quotient of this otherwise fine list beginning to slip, I suggest
a voluntary moratorium on all "politically related" messages. Hopefully,
if this meets with the list's approval, we, as adults, can police
ourselves and refrain from posting things related to politics, the
election, Iraq, etc., until such time as the List as a group decides to
lift such a moratorium. This shouldn't cause an undue burden on the list
moderator because people on the List should be mature enough to live by
the List's posting guidelines without having to be babysat.
