new machine and volume sets

We are in the process of bringing a 989 on line.
Part of out testing program, is to run all exesting jobs before going live.
One problem we have is a link from the 989 to a HP9000 machine is refusing
to co-operate. When we try to run it the following error message is
displayed.
"The VOLUME SET associated with the file's group does not exist. (FILE OPEN
ERROR -494)"
The job file and group have the same home set/class. This job runs on 2
other machines without any problems with different volume set/class names.
Any bright ideas out there?
