Some ideas I've seen:

Make it impossible to get to the cockpit from the cabin. Even a
dumbwaiter to get food to them would be a security risk. There would
have to be a door from the outside to the cockpit, a place for food, and
its own WC.

A button in the cockpit to release sleepy gas into the cabin (well, it
works on Star Trek!)
