While I think about it how does your rule apply to 3456.56,
'three hundred fifty-six fifty six' ?
Yall - bad example - it's an Americanism which does not apply
to standard English, it may have been accepted into common
usage and we Brits understand what you mean by it ( I first heard
it in the sixties TV show "The Beverley Hillbillies" - 'Ya'll
come back now y'here'.
We should all rejoice in the idiosyncrasies of our language, and
preserve as many of them as we can, do 'youse lot' agree ( I live
and work in the Liverpool area, where youse is perfectly acceptable
scouse but English it ain't !),
