We use the free LZW utility, from Telamon, which is available in versions
for several different operating systems.  Works well, and if there's a
version to support your destination machine (you didn't say what that was),
I'd highly recommend it.  Go to www.telamon.com, select the "anonymous FTP"
link and then the "dist" link.
