If you are interested in Extreme Programming.

Don't forget the following link as well:

http://www.extremeprogramming.org/

Like any methodology their are those who are hyper-crtical
if you don't follow the rules *exactly* as mapped out. My
preference is to just take the best of some different
methodologies that work for you.

Some of the things I like about Extremeprogramming are:

 1) Writing the test case beforehand
 2) Getting user stories. (althought not quite to the degree as some
companies)
 3) Paired Programming
 4) Make frequent small releases
 5) No overtime. :)

Some other interesting links are:

http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?ProgrammingInPairs
http://www.xprogramming.com/Practices/PracPairs.html

Many of the concepts are parallel to the Step by Step Method that
we have used at Robelle for some time.

Neil
