Someone needs to add a nameserver record for you. Typically it'd be in one
of the nameservers listed in your reslvcnf.net.sys file (but not necessarily).
Have them add an "A" record for you with your 3000s hostname and the IP
address of your DTC.
Note that in a couple months(?) when the host-based telnet server becomes
available, if you decide to start using that you'll want to change those
pointers or add other pointers using a different name that point to the IP
address of your HP3000 (its lanic interface).
