Jazz (18 lines)
On a related note, has anyone visited the regular HP web site for
computing lately? It looks to me like there is a much fairer treatment of
the 3000 than there used to be. The only thing I ran across there didn't
look too hot was the software page that could use some fresh MPE stuff.

Perhaps I missed it, but from a marketing angle of MPE's strengths, I
think Shareplex should be featured more aggressively. With "cheap" 9x7
boxes very available, having a shareplexed server is becoming much more
attractive.

As for Jazz, perhaps it's mission is misunderstood. It would help to take
out the "what's new" part, since that is rather stale. I see Jazz as a
utility server for technical documentation stuff, software distribution,
etc., and not directly a marketing thing. Perhaps the lead in pages should
make that a little clearer and point toward the regular HP web site for
marketing information. BTW, would it be possible to put on it all the
software from the IPROF tape on jazz?
