To answer Jeffs Questions:

Yes, I have used separate volumes before, but with only 3 drives on my
new system, I don't see much benefit to separate them. If I had 5 or
more drives I would probably separate them.
I will probably keep the "old" drives as a separate volume set for test
and "off-line" data.
>2. What are your disk space requirements?
I have about 5Gb of user data
and between 1 and 2Gb of "system" data.
>3. What model 2 and 6 gig drives do you have?
Internal I have 3 - model A2446A 2GB drives
External the cabinet is a model 3023R, but I'm not sure what model the
drive is.
