One of the home computers of a client got zapped by two power surges in a
recent thunder storm that passed through the area. The power dropping and
returning in rapid succession probably zapped the surge protector with the
first drop, then zapped the computers with the second.

The primary drive in their primary computer (the WD2000) refuses to be
recognized by the BIOS and of course XP can't "see" it either.

By switching the circuit card on a drive I've been able to get the drive to
work long enough to make a disc to disc copy (on an HP3000 and scsi drives).
I'd like to attempt the same with this drive.

If anyone has a Western Digital WD2000 SATA drive or just the circuit card
available, please let me know. A WD2000 IDE or scsi drive or circuit card
would probably work too.

Thanks!

P.S. Please forgive not having the "OT" posting as I need to reach the
widest audience possible.
