We have a situation where we might be moving some HP3000 users and
their serial line printers to another building across town. There is
another 3000 at that location too, but the applications the users will
print from aren't moving to that location.

What's the easiest way to have a spoolfile on one 3000 system print to
a printer that's configured on another system with a minimum of
effort, cost, and/or complexity? I thought about writing a batch job
using MPEX to search out the spoolfiles and moving them ... maybe have
the spoolfiles spooled to a "dummy" printer, and MPEX could look for
those and transfer them.

Anyone have any better ideas?
