hi all!

glenn mitchell pointed out that the template modification script had a
'feature' in it that made it 'less than useful' on systems older than
6.5.  (thanks, glenn!)

so, i've modified the script and made a *documentation* change to the
job.  (there is no functional change to the job).

if have not previously downloaded this job and script, now would be a
good time to pick up a 'hot off the presses' version.  if you're
already running version 2.1 of the job, you can go back to searching
ebay :-)       - d
