I thought of this option.   Plus a few others, like SUPRTOOL.

Any chance you can e-mail me the DB2DISC, STD format would be fine.

Thanks,

-Craig

Craig,

If all you need to do is 'export' (in dataset buffer format) the content of a few datasets - DB2DISC isn't the only answer.

Try doing a QUERY 'Find ALL' in the dataset you need to unload, then do a 'SAVE' to a file (it will prompt for the name of the file to keep it in).

The file produced will be, from a layout perspective, compatible with the output of DB2DISC, and usable as input for DISC2DB, or any other program that can read a 'dataset buffer' format input file.

Not quite as automatic as DB2DISC, but has the added advantage of being able to do 'filtering' with the FIND command.

Good Luck!
