Somehow I get the feeling he is referring to the configured limit. If you
have an unlimited license, then this number is arbitrary, but it must be
configured to some value anyway. Say you configure it for 400, then to
exceed that value with the LIMIT command you must make the change and reboot
to activate it. Then the LIMIT command will work.
If you don't have an unlimited licence, but have, say a 100 user license,
then you may as well have sysgen configured for 100, so you never get to
this point.

Aw, c'mon now. I've heard some HPRC stories (I've got one or two of
my
own), but...HPRC said you can't change the session limit without a
reboot? I think there's more to this story...
