The gateway has been in operation now for several months and we've
experienced (and still do experience) several glitches - mostly malformed
messages - which cause retries and retries. We are working on this problem,
but in general, we'd like to know your thoughts on the service.

Any comments, pro or con, would be appreciated. Even though we provide the
service for free (yup, no charge to anyone), we want to try to make it
better if it needs it, or if it's working well, then we won't fix what ain't
broken :)

TIMING ISSUES: We cannot control this! We send posts off to 3000-L as we
get them (which means immediately), and we update Usenet every 15 minutes or
less. Once it hits the NNTP server outside of CSILLC, we have no control as
to how fast posts make it around to other NNTP servers, so if your posts are
slow in posting, it could be this issue, so please - no flames on when your
ISP gets updated, as there's nothing we can do about it. I can say that
DejaNews usually updates within 2 hours on average, and AOL users get
updated within two to four hours.

Thanks,
Joe
