We are trying to copy a large group of files from one machine to another
(3000 -> 3000).  Even though I am logged onto both machines as SM (has PM).
I can't seem to copy PRIV files (DBs) across.
The message I get is:
 
550 A privileged file code violation occurred.  (FILE OPEN ERROR -463)
Data Transfer Request Failed.  (FTPERR 13)

Ever hear of "sneakernet"?   :-)
 
Actually - I'm not kidding - the only ways I;ve been able to do that is to use DSCOPY
with an open DSLINE, or, rely on good ol' tape.  (Damned PRIV files anyway).
