It is a 'hidden job or service'. I believe the correct term would be
daemon.
Try the command.. it will give you are response, to tell you if the
listener is up....
Before doing the command,
LISTF MIXL.PUB.SYS,8
then
xeq snmputil.net.sys;info="snmpcontrol stop"
and see the results
listf mixl.pub.sys,8
