Using the beta Apache / Java Server (Apache 1.3.9 Beta with DSO and ApacheJServ 1.1 both from jazz.external.hp.com) requires beta patch MPELX44 to resolve "DYNAMIC LOADING UNRESOLVED EXTERNAL" out of Apache. 

The patch works to prevent that, but seems to promote a new problem:  "An invalid pointer was detected by VIRTUAL SPACE MANAGEMENT."

This problem appears in both Apache and a test program provided by the lab for beta testing.

I have been trying to get the Apache / Java Server going for the past year and have met one problem after another.
It took HP seven months to resolve on of the problems by giving us NS/3000 at a 100% discount.
I am the only one in the world who can't seem to make the Java HelloWorld program to work.
I would like DSO to work so I can do other things, like Enhydra and maybe even FrontPage extensions.

The Call ID 3100384384 is outstanding for this problem but there have been no responses thus far.

I may have to abandon all development work on the HP3000 if there is no resolution.

Any suggestions?
