I have to kick in my 2 cents worth here...

It is totally beyond my comprehension how HP, who wants to portray itself as
the
Major Supplier of IT technology, web services, eservices, espeak, net
security, Web QOS
net management, etc etc, yadata yadata yadata...

Historically (and persisting with some improvements today) has had the most
disfunctional web site (not just ITRC) of all the significant computer
software/hardware vendors. How does HP really expect to be taken seriously
in the Internet space when the most visible example of HP's capabilities and
qualifications to play in this same space is so poor...

My interactions with the Microsoft and Novell web sites are SO MUCH MORE
productive than HP's that I really don't expect HP's web site to make a
contribution to my work, whereas I have come to rely on the Microsoft and
Novell (constant reorganizations not withstanding) sites to contribute value
to my efforts.

You just have to wonder how a company with the resources of HP can duff
something like this on such an ongoing basis...

On a related note: The new Support Administration Web Site seems to be a
departure from the HP web site norm as it shows signs of trying do it
right...but still SO SLLLOOOOOWWWW.
