Yep, d.....Oracle's ready, and It'll take only a roomful of DBA's to provide
a fraction of the functionality of IMAGE!

Take a moment, my friend, and re-examine your definition of 'ready'.

Subject: Greg Stigers ad suspension thread/response

Lack of response means nothing to me. Giving some thought to what I =
write? Now that is a good one. So, I can't have my opinion? Sorry, I =
can have my opinion whether you like it or not. It may not be =
politically correct but it is my opinion and I stand for it. You don't =
want to face the music and that is your prerogative. The day MPE is =
the flagship of HP you will get my vote. Until that happens, you have =
your head in the sand as far as I am concerned. I have not disrespected =
anyone here as a person or their professional experience. I am pointing =
out realities of a new economy where systems have to be web enabled =
today not tomorrow. Oracle is ready and so are others. Total =
solutions. Today you are fighting for survival of the old dressed as =
new, ignoring reality totally. When CEO's are offered total solutions =
for a per transaction price, you are still thinking on how to build a =
system that will handle this new economy. Well, you are respectfully =
20 minutes too late. I think that Ken Graham kind of spelled it out for =
you better than I could.

Respectfully yours!
