I don't think so. We just upgraded from pp1 to pp2 and had installed the MPELXB0 patch prior to the pp2 upgrade.

We have been attempting to apply MPE6.5pp2 without success. The HP Response
Center has dialed into our system and first suggested that we needed an
upgrade to our Link Editor. That did not solve the problem. Now they are
suggesting that THE problem lies in the fact that we already have patch
MPELXB0 installed:

MPELXB0A 8606-159008 - RELINKER patch to NL THU, NOV 30, 2000 11:06 A
Back Out Changes From MPELX66 Due To SORT Performance Issues

As far as I know, all AMISYS sites have installed this patch upon going to
MPE 6.5 so that SUPRTOOL does not slow to a crawl (at least installing this
patch was recommended by the AMISYS group and I assume this was with HP's
blessing).

HPRC is guessing that when the pp2 installation gets to this patch, it fails
(something to do with the fact that it is already in the NL system library).
Looks like it's an HP installation routine issue to me... any feedback from
you HP3k gurus would be appreciated. Thanks.
