I agree with Ric and Connie.... It's only a joke. Let's end the bantering!

The original intent of all this was not to pick on lawyers in general
(although he did take the brunt of it) but to point out that a 'user'(who
happened to be a lawyer) thought that reading the delightful jokes provided
by the 'cookies' put a dent in his departments production time.

I have worked with lawyers for 6 years now (and even used one for my
divorce) and have nothing but respect for those who earn it. They work long
hours (like us) and make quick decisions that affect peoples lives (like
us). The keyword is "who earn it".

Yes there are bad apples who make a bad name for lawyers but who hasn't
worked with a person in his/her department that was a 'bad apple' and made a
bad name for the department??
