While clearing out some old mail, I ran across a letter from Marilyn Edling,
Vice President, North American Enterprise Systems, whose envelope is
post-marked Apr 11'02. It begins:
--------
To Our Valued HP e3000 Customers:

Long before our announcement of the five-year plan for the e3000 last
November, we began working diligently to establish the resources our
customers needed for their transition to other HP platforms. The purpose of
this letter is to inform you of our progress in developing these resources
and our approach for reaching out to our valued HP e3000 customers.
--------

Words fail me.
