Well, it's about time *somebody* did it :-)

How paradoxical that a gateway about something with the uptime of the
HPe3000 should be down for so unconscionably long, even if it was a
major infrastructure failure outside of any 3000 (or any 3000 user's)
control.

I trust you are going to post the backlog of 3000-L mail that
comp.sys.hp.mpe has never seen (and vice versa), and not just start as
of now?

Those of us hanging on in USENET (by preference, in our case) are kind
of relying on this.
