If any of you use Growthpower software and are logging sales order entry
changes to net book you will see your system slow down to a crawl and
eventually appear to hang. The program SUSO.prog.fm doesn't handle the
''00' year very well. If you make a change to a sales order prior to
year 2000 the program appears to go into a loop, not allowing the user
to exit.
If multiple users make changes you will see your system performance slow
down to a crawl and then stop. I couldn't even run GLANCE.
HP did analyzed a memory dump of ours to find the offending program. We
turned off the sales order change "logging" switch and the problem went
away.
HP after closing my call, called me back about an hour later thinking we
placed another call. Turns out that another Growthpower site was having
the same problem. HP validated this by comparing our memory dump with
the other site. (the same engineer was assigned to both calls.) HP
documented our solution and passed it on to the other site.

I would be interested in hearing from other Growthpower users about
issues they are having.

Thanks in advance,

Larry B.
