I can confirm that we too saw this. It only occurred on cgi-generated
pages, whether programs or simple scripts that copy MPE files to stdout.
Regular html files are delivered fine, even VERY large ones.

I hit this in several places; one of which was the job-postings pages,
which used to be MPE (non posix) files where the server executed a script
to copy them to the client; I since gave up and just converted the files
to large HTML (posix) files and now they deliver cleanly.

I never benchmarked at what point it started happening, or the actual byte
counts delivered; thought we were able to readily reproduce it locally -
in some cases each time we hit 'reload' on the page we'd get a slightly
different number of bytes delivered. I did report it to the HP'ers that
ported OMI (during the beta); they didn't seem to be able to reproduce it,
and we could reproduce it using both httpd and OMI.
