I'm posting this for the product manager of the PerfView product,
who is trying to determine if there is sufficient interest to
continue to invest in the PerfView agent for MPE/iX. If you are
using this product, or think you may use it in the future, please
respond directly to her.

Performance Monitoring for your MPE systems

Do you have a need to get alarms from your HP 3000 system? To track
its system activity over time and trend that data? To do
capacity planning?

Would you be interested in a product that:
** continuously collects system activity data
     ** timestamps the data
     ** summarizes the data
     ** logs the data
** issues alarms to the PerfView Central Console on the data
** exports the data to a variety of third party packages
for analysis, capacity planning, modeling, and accounting

What is PerfView?
PerfView is a centralized performance management console that manages
your environment using exception based alarms. PerfView also graphs
and reports on your data. PerfView console runs on an HP-UX system,
and today has agents on HP-UX, HP-MPE, Sun and IBM AIX.

If you are interested in this functionality or would like to discuss
how you are currently doing performance management of your HP 3000
systems please e-mail me at: [log in to unmask]
