The fibre channel code basically *is* 7.5, so if you added it via patch
to 7.0, it would *be* 7.5 at that point for the most part.  The
extensive changes made to the core I/O system to make support of the FC
hardware possible cannot be packaged into a "patch" using the existing
patch mechanisms I believe.

If you want FC, you must upgrade to 7.5, but since 7.5==7.0+FC, there
should no longer be any real reason not to upgrade once you decide you
want the native FC.
