Running: MPE/iX HP31900 B30.45 User Version B40.00
Hi there,
I'm not an HP user, but helping out the local system manager try to fix
a couple of problems. I thought someone on this newsgroup might be able
to help.
We're running the o/s version given above.
1. We're looking for a command (or system call) to get the time in GMT to
use in programs, something which apparently doesn't seem very
straightforward.
2. We're also looking to know if there is a way to change the system clock
without rebooting the system, again something which is rather
inconvenient.
Due to the applications we are running we can't upgrade the os version,
so any tools, or pointers to solve these problems on this version of the o/s
would be appreciated.
I don't normally follow this newsgroup so would prefer an e-mail answer with
suggestions, but will try and follow the group for the next few days.
Many thanks
Simon Mudd
