Jeff,

Just 3 weeks ago we also upgraded to our new 969 so things are still fresh.

We too moved the NMCONFIG file from out 967 and thus all of our devices
'showed' up after the reboot without any problems. In addition to the files
that someone else indicated (hosts,networks,...) there are some other files
that, at least in our case, we had to move.

1. PCLINK.PUB.SYS Used for old reflection file tranfers
2. PCLINK2.PUB.SYS Used for newer reflection file tranfers
3. MONITOR.PUB.SYS Used for Advancelink file transfers

If you are using any third party backup utility you may also need the file
used by that package where it records the dates that the last full or partial
occurred. In our case our first partial ended up being a full backup which
required more tapes than mounted and thus required someone to drive in very
early in the morning to mount additional tapes.

Good luck

Paul Christidis
