As I posted earlier: Been there done that.  Guess I was to brief.

Prior to the installation I had called all seven of our third party vendors
and explained the situation.  Five said essentially "no problem", two
wanted a written notice of our intensions.  Upshot of the whole deal
was the CE didn't care.

We have a very good relationship with our local HP field people (don't
make a crisis get here now call unless it's a real crisis) and they
understood we were not trying to do anything illegal.  Somewhere
in the ensuing 18 months HP may have gotten bit by some cheating
slug.  Sortta the way our 2567B printer aquired some colored stripes
down the side with the info that if it got into the yellow zone we should
call HP to have the gas struts replaced.  Guess someone let the
lid drop on their head and created some sortta ruckus.

YMMV but we didn't have a problem.

As long as I'm here.....I've got a new mail thingy (again) if anyone has
a problem such as Mr. Jeff Kell was describing earlier with the mailer
attaching stuff at the end, please let me know.  I am all too aware of
how irritating that can be.

Oh yeah, how shall we punish Art?  Only allow him two hehe's per day
for two days?:-))
