Dean,

the 927 runs MPE/ix and has a POSIX shell.  That is what would be running if you
issue the command from the prior email.  POSIX was part of HP's plan to merge MPE
with UNIX.  Why would you want to run unix anyway?  It's more difficult to
manage, has a hirer learning curve, takes more $$ to operate, etc, etc, etc.

But then, there's not many "canned apps" out there running on MPE/ix is there.
