Hello once again,

the problem has been solved. I thought I would install SDK 1.2.2 first. This
is the version which the file README.INSTALL.JAVA is telling about (JDK
1.2.2 MPE/iX Release A.22.01). The installation job itself turned out to be
SDK 1.3.

Please excuse the confusion...
