What I have done is this:

<ctrl>B > TC
default reboot (no concole IO)

Set the backup job inpri to 1

Altered the backup job template file to disable backups to disc.

I have spare HDDs. The system is an HP3000/918lx so no hot swap drive bays.  I
will halt the system and relace the drive later this week.

Currently we are up but I am dealing with an unexpected disappearance of the
printer classes and devices I added back in June.  I am guessing that I should
not have counted on a warm restart to restore the system to exactly the
configuration it had.

Since I added these things via ioconfig they were not saved. But I have records
of having used sysgen as well so I am not sure what step I missed.
