-44 MESSAGE A generic hardware problem occurred.
CAUSE Error condition occurred in using a device with which additional
status is not available.
ACTION Call your Hewlett-Packard Representative.

I have looked this up but what I find means very little to me:

Any information on what this error means and how to address the
