"What you are seeing is very focused expense management, improved margins
and very targeted product marketing," Fiorina said in a conference call
with analysts. "Any way you slice it, we beat estimates by a wide margin."

I say: "Will HP be doing more targeted product marketing of the HP e3000
and MPE, since your advertising of HP 9000s and HP-UX resulted in revenue
missing HP's target?  Unix revenue growth was targeted at 26% for the
quarter and came in at about half that."
