Wirt responds...
Yes. Particularly attractive notes of condolences are now being printed for
mailing to future ex-customers who find themselves in that fix. HP thinks
that you will find these notes especially reassuring and indicative of their
concern for your plight. "We care" is the motto that HP is using in all of
the cards.

But what if the [former] customer actually has a copy of SSCONFIG and uses it
to solve their problem?  Will HP then try and have them thrown into prison?

Inquiring minds would like to know (preferably before hand!)
