I have a client who could not get the network printing from the HP3000 to
work. I had him try everything that I knew. Then I had him call HP. HP
told him to set the udc snmpudc.net.sys, then type in snmpcontrol start.
The printing then worked.

My question is this: I had never had to do this on any HP3000 before. He
is running a 939 and recently upgraded to MPE/iX 6.5. I have only worked
with 5.5 and 6.0. Is this something new with 6.5?

TIA
