Steven Ritenour joins my chorus:

Eugene & Co. were *still* saying the HP 3000 would not make
it to the 21st century in 1987 ?!?!....  of course even the Boston
Tea Party did not take place until three years after that....   still:
I say now we *really* need that mea culpa in the form of a 4th
edition....
