My best guess is a programming error as a mode 4 DBGET is not an "Image"
error, rather a logic error in the program.
From the manual:
4 Directed Read. Read the entry, if it exists, at the record
number specified in the argument parameter (argument is
treated as a 32-bit record number).
For example of your error, assume that the dataset had a 100 entry capacity,
if you set the record number to 101 you would receive the error you
describe.
I am guessing that you have stored to record number of what you are looking
for in a variable that most likely was overwritten or used to hold another
value.

Through ADAGER, we examined all paths for the dataset. It didn't report any
errors.
