The COPYUTIL command exists on MPE boxes as well. But I would not recommend
it, expect for last resort purposes. In fact, there is no guarantee that you
will be able to use the result (should work most of the times, though), and
it is PAINFULLY SLOW !!!!

My recommendation of choice to backup the system domain would be cutting a
good old SLT, you know, the sysgen ta command .

If you want additional security for the system domain, you should consider
upgrading uour system volumes to HASS (High Availability Storage System)
disks, which allowhardware mirroring. You may even want to consider adding a
backup system and linking your two bowes with Shareplex, thus taking no
chance toward system/application integrity/availability .
